Cape Town - The Australian cricket team gave back on Tuesday as they attended a coaching clinic at the Pumla School for Learners with Special Educational Needs at Orlando West in Soweto.

The Australian High Commissioner Gita Kamath was also in attendance.

Former captain Steve Smith wrote on a Instagram post that visiting the Pumla School for Learners with Special Educational Needs was a "humbling experience".

Australia begin their short tour of South Africa on Friday, when they take on the Proteas in the first T20 at the Wanderers.

Their tour to South Africa consists of three T20s and 3 ODIs.

This will be Smith and team-mate David Warner's first tour to South Africa since the sandpaper scandal of 2018.

Play on Friday is scheduled at 18:00.
